- What are the rates to rent a studio for a private event?

- How far in advance do I have to make reservations for a studio rental?
A: We rent our studios for private events on a first-come-first-serve basis. The majority of the year, 3LD’s studios are filled with artistic residencies, so it is best to contact us at least 6 months in advance. In order for you to secure your dates, you must sign a contract and provide a deposit.
- Do I need insurance?
A: Yes. We require you to obtain temporary event insurance. If you are a 501c3 organization we recommend Fractured Atlas for this service. For more information, please go to http://www.fracturedatlas.org/site/liability/Event.
- Is there 24 hour access?
A: Our staff will work with you to make sure you have access to the space to meet your needs for the day of your event. If you are renting for longer than 3 days, you receive keys to your space and have 24/7 access.
- How many bathrooms do you have?
A: There are 6 stalls in the womens bathroom and 1 stall with 3 urinals in the mens bathroom. Access to the bathrooms is available to each studio throught the lobby.
- Do you have wifi / internet?
A: 3LD has a standard DSL wireless internet service. We can provide you and your team with wifi access, however it cannot accommodate more than 20 users at a time.
- Will a crew be provided with my rental?
A: 3LD offers you a clean, empty space for your event. If you would like a special lighting, sound, or video installation, you must provide your own labor to install or hire our crew at a competitive industry standard rate.
- Is there a catering service or restaurant nearby you would recommend?
A: Yes, we can recommend several local business in a range of prices and varieties. Please ask us if you are interested in this information.
- Do you have furniture? Tables, chairs, risers?
A: 3LD has a 200 seat riser system for Studio A with seating. Studio B has seating and you can request a riser system for an extra charge. We have 6 banquet tables that are shared among the studios. We do not have any dining or cocktail tables for sit down dinners.
- Can I sell alcohol?
A: You can only sell alcohol if your organization or caterer has a liquor liscence.
- Can I sell tickets to my event?
A: If your event is related to our mission, we would allow you to use our online ticketing system, ovationtix.
